Aircraft Hydraulic Accumulators

Sargent’s long-standing experience with hydraulic actuation has allowed Sargent to design and manufacture piston-style accumulators. Accumulators are often used in place of small pumps to save space and weight or as a backup to critical systems in the event of a pump failure. Sargent has experience designing simple and complex piston-style accumulators for applications with demanding weight, envelope, and performance requirements. Sargent has worked with customers to design very simple to extremely complex accumulators. Sargent has even designed an accumulator with a visual charge indicator for a very specific application. Sargent engineers often work with our customers to help define specifications.
